It's a lot!
"This book really does have it all. . . maybe too much! I think the book should be broke up into two sections. Section one would be Home Design with all the design choices and ideas one would discuss with your Designer and Builder. Section two would be the checklist of all the inspection items that would check if you were your own GC because many things like "make sure toe boards are removed from the roof" are just something I would hope a GC would notice and take care of. We have a GC so going through the whole book as written felt overwhelming because "making sure the sill plate is sealed" is not something I'll probably see and if I have to tell my builder to do that, I have the wrong builder. Overall this book is a wealth of information and it did give us some new ideas while reminding us to add ones we'd previously liked to our discussion list with the builder. I'd still recommend it."
