I watched this guy on TikTok and liked what he had to say. First thing I ever bought off TT. We were just starting to build the house. I used this so much. I did end up putting sidewalk all around the house. Access point for shower and tub plumbing. Enclosed crawl space. We also put in to circuit boxes so electric if ever needing updating would not require getting around the vaulted ceilings. We pre wired house with the cat6 right off. Didn’t do those Smurf tubes only because my contractor talked me out of them. That was a mistake I followed this checklist as the house moved along. It was a1600 square foot house. It helped.

"This is our second (and terminal!) new home build. We did not have a comprehensive guide the first time around and there were many areas we did not consider based on looking at this checklist. We initially looked at Pinterest which provides lots of specific ideas but nothing that is aggregated in one location. this checklist does it. Even if you do not use it to change your build, it is reassuring that you will have at least considered everything so you will have no regrets. It is worth the cost and even your builder will learn something from it. We all focus on the finishes while not considering the "guts" of the build which supports any finish work. Would highly recommend for the few dollars it costs for piece of mind. Your builder will either be impressed or annoyed by you? A good one should be impressed; a bad one will be annoyed."

So Much More Useful Than I Ever Imagined!
"I'm writing this review after having had the checklist (Version 12) for six months. This has been INVALUABLE to the planning of our build! We are still in the design phase of our build, and this checklist has given us so many incredibly important ideas that were far beyond anything we could have designed without it. Furthermore, version 13 just came out and I received an email with a list of the updates along with links to assets for each one (if applicable). "This is a great go by checklist for adding my detail to. It reinforces many things I have in my own 62 page build specific checklist and raises many other potential failure points to monitor and avoid. It has saved me more than enough time to justify the cost. Do not buy this if you are looking for a perfect checklist to build your house on your site with and expect it to cover everything without alteration. When’s the best time to start using the checklist?
