How this happened

The plans guy wrote the wrong address on the set of prints that was distributed to the builder. The builder was busy with numerous houses at the time and the house looked very similar to another house being built in the same area. He would have continued the build if we (the homeowners) didn’t catch it.

 

 

Prevent this by

  • Getting a finalized copy of your plans from the builder as soon as they’re complete

  • Visiting the job site frequently

  • Checking for accurate plans in the permit box
