What you should know

Don’t make these mistakes when building your new home! Using PVC on gutter drains provide a more durable solution to drain the gutter water. Including a hot water hose bib outside would have been beneficial for dog baths and spraying off the kiddos after a dip in the pool. We also wish we had used rocks instead of mulch. This would make blowing the leaves out of the flower beds much easier. And finally, electric curtains. Sure they are expensive, but so worth it! These are just some mistakes that we made while building our house.
